Longview Software provides the following NETeXPERT OSS Framework services:

(1) Application Development & Existing System Tuning: Our team can provide services in implementing new applications on the NETeXPERT framework from Fault Management, Performance Management, Service Management, Activation, Automated Reconfigurations, and any other business needs. Longview Software understands the steps in leveraging NETeXPERT effectively including topology modeling which is a key component for modeling next generation resources and services. Longview Software has experience in defining classes, attributes, and relationships between managed objects to support business logic through rules and policies. Longview Software also has indepth knowledge of the rule language and how it can be leveraged most efficiently.

System optimization and tuning services are also important today as new services are managed. Some Communication Service Providers (CSPs) are looking for system scalability optimizations especially as CSPs are being consolidated. Some CSPs are also faced with ever increasing alert loads and to reduce operational expenditures they look to Longview Software for assistance in advanced correlation work.

(2) OSS Integration: Custom and 3rd Party OSS Applications are being developed and integrated to support today's next generation IP service needs. Existing legacy OSS systems as well as new systems are being assessed, consolidated, replaced, and integrated to manage hybrid legacy/next generation environments which deliver communication services. Integration of these systems is critical to reduce operational expenditures, time to market, service delivery times, etc.

Longview Software provides software development resources to help leverage Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services in integrating OSS management functions. Longview Software is currently leveraging Business Process Management tools to provide timely end-to-end service activation for IP services. Longview Software also provides project management services focused on managing these timely integrations to meet your business needs.

(3) User Interface Services: Visual Agent, RT Views, Object Browser Extensions are areas that require creativity and experience to provide users the most effective way in presenting information to operations as well as executives. Longview Software has talented graphics engineers as well as access to various tools including Visual Agent and Enterprise RT Views. Longview Software's Web Alert is a web-based alert display for NETeXPERT, which provides even greater reach and visibility to NETeXPERT Alert Management funcitons anytime and anywhere.

(4) Add-on Start-up Services: Version Control (CVS and VCDS Installation & Training ) as well as Gateway Central Services (GC Installation & Training) help those that are new users of VCDS and GC to immediately become effective in leveraging these time saving value-added components for the NETeXPERT OSS Framework.

(5) Vendor Specific Adapters (VSA): Longview Software has decades of experience in developing bi-direction Service, Fault, Performance, Activation, & Discovery VSA's across IP, Wireline, and Wireless domains. These VSA's span various protocols including shell, telnet, TCP/IP, X.25, SNMP, XML, Corba, CMIP, etc. Longview Software has extensive knowledge with implementing all NETeXPERT gateway types. Longview Software will also support the NETeXPERT Gateway Agents which provide light weight gateway functionality for lower cost hardware and remote managed services through firewalls.
