I am pleased to announce that Longview Software and OSI have signed an Asset Purchase Agreement for OSI to acquire Longview intellectual property, products and technology. Longview software is a maker of off-the-shelf tools and custom applications that add value to many Operational Support System (OSS) and Business Support System (BSS) frameworks in the telecommunications industry.

Mr. Roger Hosier is rejoining OSI. Mr. Hosier will serve as head of the OSI Custom Application Development group which will develop value added products for NETeXPERT® customers. Roger once led OSI’s R&D organization and was instrumental in defining the NETeXPERT® architecture. During his tenure at OSI, Roger also served as CTO before founding Longview Software.

The union of Longview and OSI is part of our ongoing strategy to maximize innovation in the product line, to provide continuity to our customers and to enable custom solutions.
